SO when we make Banana Cake we need to use a whole packet of chocolate chips and 10 cups of flour, and perhaps that may last us 1 week :)

Sleepy Winter........

Well its not quiet, but the cold weather has killed off all motivation for exercise, housework, every thing that requires energy!!

My weight loss has come to a big screeching halt, can't be bothered to eat healthy or do any exercise!! I'm just lucky that I've not put the weight back on!!

We have so much going on atm, renovations, planning a wedding and also perhaps conceiving our 6th baby.......

Defiantly not the time to loose energy!!

SO I have to be proactive! Going to bed early tonite! 9pm at the latest (usually its been 11-12pm sometimes even 1am argh!) Back to drinking more water, and exercising. I felt awesum when I was exercising daily! So much energy! OH and of course no more junk. We generally eat very well, lots of fresh veggies and home cooked meals, but I've been having too many sweets and snacks...

Oh so tired even too tired to finish this post properly! or even to check if it makes sense.....

Renovations :)

Mike was a busy bee on the weekend and got a good start on some more renovations :) The steel beams were put in place allowing for a old beam to be pulled out to open up the area under the house for the new living area :) !!!! His mate Cricket helped with welding which was such a help!!

This means that we are now able to start up with framing and putting in place the new front entrance to the house!!! Will update with some pictures when I get the chance!

The kids don't understand why I'm so excited about renovations! lol!! But when its all completed and we have the new 3 bedrooms, bathroom, laundry and living area done they will understand the excitement! :)

Finally I'll have a large house to enjoy our large family in!!

Kadee and Vegemite!

Our first 'big girl' food - toast with Vegemite!! Kaydee
love eating especially anything that we are eating! She is so much like Callum with her food, the other children didn't really take to chunky foods til they were 9/10 mths old!

Playing with the dog :)

Here Kadee is 'playing' with Bruno.

I really love the fact that my children share the same love for animals that I do :)

While I feel that Bruno (9 mths) is a 'safe' dog I don't totally trust dogs around little ones, especially with a 7 mth old bub who could annoy him enough for him to snap at her.

So this is as close as Kadee gets to 'play' with the doggies :)

Renovations! Woot Woot!! Finally a new Throne!

Finally Mike has decided to start up with the renovations again!! It was a hard slog a few years ago putting in a new kitchen and bathroom, as well has new carpet, tiles and paint in the living areas.

The new motivation to replace the toilet came from the $355 water bill we got for last quarter!! Double what it normally is due to the toilet leaking constantly!!

I would call the current renovation, toilet stage 2, as Mike still has to finish the walls and tiling, but we can use it and its soooooo quiet without the constant hissing of the water wasting away!!

I'm so proud to have such a handyman!! Mike has saved us so much money with all the things he does around the house :)

Mothers Day

Well so far this year I've already gotten 3 'early' mothers day pressies :)

Livia bought me cards, a plant and a pen and note pad from the school stall :) and Callum decided he needed to buy me a box of chocolates and a awesum card - that cost him 6 BUCKS! OMG! How he stressed over spending that much money on his mum! lol!! oh and I managed to get a cuddle out of him too!

So tomorrow I've been promised that Aliya will be getting me something from the mothers day stall as well......

While I have already told that kiddies that a sleep in and lots of cuddles and kisses will suit me just fine, they are very eager to 'get' me things :)

I love love love my kids :)

Oh yeah, Did I forget to mention that the chocolates were yummy?? I don't eat dark chocolate, but of course couldn't break Callum's heart by telling him this!! lol!! but in the end I think I am converted! They were divine!

Never too young to help with the chores :)

Well Kaydee may think that she isn't too young to join in with helping unpack the dishwasher! lol!!

Only 6&1/2 mths old and already pulling herself up on anything and everything!! She is by far my earliest 'pulling' up on everything baby!!

Too cute!

INDY flew away!!!

Si si came rushing upstairs this morning to let us know that Indy, our Blue Ringneck has 'flew away over the trees'!!! GREAT!!!

We have a huge strip of bushland behind our house, so I'm thinking our chances of getting him back are very slim :(

He's a great bird, whistles, does tunes, says his name, but we've not been handling him much cause he was a bit nippy.

So sad!
